Your books, in English. Your filings, on time.
Monthly bookkeeping, VAT, payroll and year-end — one desk, one monthly fee, Steuerberater oversight included.
German accounting is a system — we run it for you.
Every German company — from the first month of its existence — owes the state a steady rhythm of filings: advance VAT returns (Umsatzsteuervoranmeldungen), wage-tax and social-security reports for every employee, and an annual financial statement (Jahresabschluss) with corporate and trade tax returns. These run on statutory deadlines with automatic penalties, and the tax office corresponds in German, on paper, with response windows measured in days.
For foreign founders the standard setup is a local Steuerberater — excellent professionals who mostly work in German and bill by the ordinance's fee schedule. Our model is different: we run your day-to-day bookkeeping, VAT and payroll in-house on DATEV, Xero or QuickBooks, in English, for one flat monthly fee — and our licensed Steuerberater partners review and sign where German law requires a licensed professional. You get one contact who answers in a language you read, and filings that never slip.
The same desk runs Swiss and Austrian companies through our partners in Zurich and Vienna — so a group with entities in two or three markets closes its books in one coherent monthly process instead of three separate ones.
The tax office questionnaire is due within weeks of incorporation, and VAT returns start immediately after. Bookkeeping isn't optional in Germany — it's statutory from day one.
You sign filings you can't read. We run the same DATEV process every German Steuerberater expects — explained to you in English.
German payroll means social-security registration, wage-tax filings and payslips with a dozen statutory lines. Done wrong, it's personal liability for the managing director.
A backlog compounds: estimated assessments (Schätzungen), late fees, blocked VAT refunds. We take over mid-year, clean up, and get you current.

From scoping call to steady rhythm.
Pick your services. We fix the price.
Select what you need — the estimate updates as you go. After a 30-minute scoping call you get a fixed monthly quote that only changes if your volume does.
Switching from another accountant? Mention it in the notes — we handle the handover directly with them.
Asked before every engagement.
Yes — German law reserves certain filings and tax advice to licensed Steuerberater. We run your day-to-day bookkeeping and payroll, and our licensed partners review and sign where the law requires it. You get one point of contact and one coherent monthly fee instead of two separate relationships.
Yes. We request the handover (DATEV export, open items, payroll records) directly from your previous accountant, clean up any backlog, and continue seamlessly. The one-time switch fee covers this.
Mainly document volume and complexity: number of invoices and bank transactions, whether you sell across borders, and payroll headcount. After the scoping call you get a fixed monthly price — it only changes if your volume does.
Yes — through our partner network in Zurich and Vienna, with the same English-language coordination. Cross-border groups (e.g. a German GmbH with a Swiss holding) are exactly the setups we like.
